A special election will be held to replace the seat vacated by Hank Culley, who served D1 in many capacities over the last decade+. We will have 3 candidates, Chris Schubert, Dave Sanders and Dave Fortier. Our Vice-President, Jan Held, is collecting Bios for the candidates and we expect to open the election no later than Monday, June 8. I will post the link here as soon as the election is open. As a reminder, only currently rostered players can vote.

Doug Goslee would like to announce that he will begin taking names for the Annual Red, White and Blue tournament on June 10. It will be held on July 3rd at Everglades. Game times will be 9:00 and 10:30, and Doug plans to field 4 D1 teams with a max of 15 on a team. Reach out to Doug, starting next Wednesday. Or he'll find you!

We are in the process of moving the location for our board meetings. As the Villages moves south, so must we. In the interim, I will announce the venue here until we reach a permanent solution. The June Board meeting will be held at the Fields (Everglades) after the games on Wednesday June 10. Anyone who wishes to attend may do so.
