We have an author in our midst!

Jimmy Faggiana has published a book entitled The Portal. I'll copy his description below, but I could only find it on Books-A-Million, so maybe take advantage of the direct from the author discount. While looking for his book, I also discovered that Jim was on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and won 32K. What a talented guy! But Jim, if you did the New York Times crossword every day, you'd surely know that Midori plays the violin.

My novel "The Portal" has finally been published, and is available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble in paperback. The eBook version will not be available for a few more weeks. Note that there are many other works of the same name - a rookie mistake by yours truly. Look for the yellow police tape on the cover. And mine is the best of all of them!

It is a science fiction/crime thriller, in the vein of Stephen King's "11/22/63" (but quite different!). At 538 pages, it took two years to write, and another 9 months to publish.

Interesting to note, I have used the names of many of my Division 1 teammates and friends as characters (all good guys or gals!) in the work - please enjoy your appearance if you find yourself.
